With an impressive 42-year career as a Journeyman Lineman, Roger Noland brings unparalleled expertise and dedication to the Electric Department. In addition to his professional accomplishments, Roger has served as Pastor of the Open Door Church of God for 34 years, showcasing his deep commitment to faith, family, and community.


Roger’s leadership is rooted in his passion for serving the citizens of Walters, whether by ensuring reliable electricity or giving back through his ministry. His contributions to the city include overseeing critical projects, such as bringing electricity to Hometown Grocery and the DHS building, which have significantly impacted local life.


When Roger isn’t working to keep Walters powered, you might find him pursuing his diverse talents and hobbies. A skilled musician, he can play 12 instruments, blending his love for music with his dedication to enriching others’ lives. Additionally, he practices martial arts, embodying discipline and perseverance in every aspect of his life.
